Improving the water pump of Ramachiwadi

Project completed in May 2006

During the initial construction of the pump, the provided pipe was too short, and for financial reasons it was never extended. As a result, when the underground water level is low, the pump no longer works. 

The solution was very simple: excavating the existing pipe and replacing it with a longer one enabled the entire village to again have access to water.
